CHAPTER 17

Jason wandered down to the game room. He had a feeling Gael was down there even though he couldn't sense him. His lion had also calmed down because its mate was upset. He could feel it pacing in his mind. As he stepped off the last step he could smell the alcohol in the air.

He walked toward the bar and saw two bottles sitting on the counter. One was empty, the other on its way. He heard a loud belch and turned to see Gael spread eagle on the pool table.

"Gael, you okay?" The only things on Gael that moved were his feet. "Whachu wan'? 'nother ride on th' pony?" Gael's hands moved to the waistband of his pants and he started to push them down.

Jason rushed over and grabbed his hands. "Stop. Gael, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you feel like this."

"You say tha' now. Just wait 'til I'm sober, you'll say whaever to get wha' you want." Gael rolled until he was sitting up. "Criss-cross applesauce." He giggled and almost fell back.

"Come on, let's get you in bed. You need to sleep this off." Jason tried to help Gael off the table but Gael pulled away from him.

He glared up at Jason. "You were supp'sed be diffrent. You weren't supp'sed to treat me like a toy. You were supp'sed to love me." Tears streamed down Gael's face. "Why'd you do this?"

Jason didn't know what to say. All he wanted to do was hold Gael and promise never to do it again but he didn't get a chance to say anything.

"Do you have any idea what it's like to be used and drugged every day? Do you know how much I hated myself? No, you don't. You lived your perfect little life until your parents freaked out that you were gay. You had friends and normal relationships. I had johns and Gerard and Tony."

Gael gingerly climbed off the table and paced around the room. His anger was starting to overcome the alcohol.

"You know I told you about waking up pierced and getting raped. What I didn't tell you was that apparently I was drugged for the first three months and gave blowjobs to whoever Gerard deemed worthy. How do I know this? Gerard recorded everything. Every blowjob, every person who fucked me, everything. Hell, he even recorded my showers and he got off on all of it. The sick bastard. He took a child and turned him into a sex toy. That's all I was."

Gael stalked back to the bar and refilled his glass.

"I remember lying on his desk with him fucking me when a business associate walked in. Do you know what he said? He said 'Hey, Gino, he's all yours when I'm done'. Gino smiled and grabbed himself through his Armani pants. Gino wanted to know one thing—how old I was. At the time I had just turned sixteen. Do you know what I got for my sixteenth birthday?
